As the Director of Business Development, you will be measured against the following objectives:
1) New Business Development:
Forging ties with leading innovator pharmaceutical companies in the API – CDMO space including: Industry networking, Negotiating deals and effective client management.
2) Strategic BD plan:
Develop a strategic plan for expanding the client portfolio, developing market reports, sales forecasting and company mapping.
3) Cross-Functional Data translation:
Support and develop cross-functional teams, sharing expert knowledge on the US territory and the companies who work within it.
What you will do:
The Director of Business Development is responsible for generating new business through new client acquisition and account management activities across the US territory, responsible for managing their own work schedule and leading the territory from a commercial perspective.
You will be selling API specific manufacturing services to a range of Life Science organizations across the country, with the flexibility to manage your own business development efforts, before developing your role into a management position in the future.
